This year the Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) is back in Kansas City. With so many exciting things going on in the Hereford industry, this will be a can’t miss event. The headquarters hotel is the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center: 2345 McGee St., Kansas City, MO 64108, (816). 841. 1000. Hotel Room Rate: $99 plus tax. The NHW will have a board meeting Sunday, July 14th at 8 a.m. The annual meeting will be Tuesday, July 16th at noon. The NHW will hit the ground running at the start of the week. The NHW makes its impact on the juniors through the many contests that they sponsor. The following are just a few of the many that the NHW chooses to sponsor to support our NJHA youth: Junior Golden Bull, Creative Arts Contest, Extemporaneous speech contest, Great American CHB Grill-Off, Illustrated Speech Contest, and the Prospect Award.
